All-Star Dumps

It goes without saying really, but the NBA All-Star game is just a large joke with little relevance other then entertainment for the fans. And its hardly entertaining anymore because no one plays.

This is what the dunk contest has become

Whats the point of playing hard and risking injury if the game means nothing?

Whats the point of a game for the fans when they can't afford ticket prices. And I do mean absurd ticket prices. Such as $500 for nose bleeds.

So what we really have here is a game for the fans
Fans who can't afford to go a game
That is not entertaining
Not entertaining because players don't play hard.
Not entertaining because the dunk contest is lame
Not entertaining because no one cares about the skills challenge.

And yes the picture above is Demar Derozan practicing his dunk for the dunk contest with a ladder, chicken suit, and bass drum.

Whatever man, everyone forgets the most important part of being a dunker. You gotta be an un-modest, show-boatin', sarcastic, borderline asshole. Like the best dunker of all time..
