During a small altercation with the Knick's Shawne Williams, Artest briefly put one hand around the neck of Williams. The altercation did not escalate into a fight but the fans of the Staple Center were given a 2 second treat that reminded us of what made Ron Artest so special: Artest is a time bomb.

I give credit to Artest, and his therapist for keeping him cool over the past few seasons, but that doesn't change the fact that its still Ron Ron the ticking Bomb Bomb.
Is this a credit to the California Education and Doctoral programs? Or is this the beginning of the end for Artest?
I also give Artest credit for using one of the NBA's oldest fighting techniques, the choke.
There was Reggie giving Spike Lee the choke.
Sprewell actually choking his coach.
JR Smith choking someone who played good defense.
I love it.
Laker fans are always in a love hate relationship with Artest.
They like it when he plays defense...They hate when he plays offense.
The point is we got a small glimpse of why Artest was arguably the most hated player in the league at one time. His unpredictability makes him unlikable to his teammates, Laker fans, and the authorities, but for me it just makes for good television.
vegas just announced they are giving 2 to 1 odds that Artest knocks someone the f*@k out by the end of the season...
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA... Lakers suck
